The Story - I truly enjoyed this story a lot more than I thought, it was set outside of Morganville and we meet new characters. It was still not perfect and it was kinda slow at times but all and all it was tons better than earlier books. Myrnin no longer sounds like a pixie on helium and she gave Eve a voice worthy of her and her attitude. Angela actually did a pretty decent job reading this book. Dawe, but it seems she read the reviews and took the advice of her listeners and did her homework on how Cynthia Holloway read the characters.

So, my review: Narrator - I was not expecting anything really from this book, just another botched narraton from Mrs. Well I guess I just like Rachel Caine and her Morganville series to stop at book 13. Angela completely butchered the narration of the past 2 books, so much so that I was not going to buy another book read by her. ***NO SPOILERS*** So, the last 2 books were read by Angela Dawe & my reviews of those books were not glowing.
